Nevada Gardener's Guide
Published in Paperback by Cool Springs Press (29 November, 2001)
Authors: Linn Mills, Dick Post, and Cool Springs Press
Average review score:

Excellent Book for Nevada, Arizona Gardeners
I just finished reading this book and found it to be an excellent source for desert gardeners. The authors are long time desert gardeners themselves and it shows. The book is easy to use, easy to understand, well-written, and quite comprehensive. A great deal of plant material is covered here.
The sections on growing lawns under hot, desert type conditions are especially good, and are obviously the result of many years of hands-on, practical experience.
Much gardening reading material is not of much use for people living in areas like Las Vegas, Nevada, but this material certainly is.
If I had but one gripe about the book, it is that it does not cover allergies caused by landscape plants very well. But then, not many gardening books do.

Gardener's Delight
This is one of the most comprehensive books that covers all the geographical areas of Nevada. It has a wonderful cross section of plants suitable for the cold climates as well as the desert of Southern Nevada.

The authors are both respected professionals in this field, and you can trust what they say. Unlike other volumes that have more pictures than text, this one gives information that is usable.

This would be the best gifts you could give to someone that wants to enjoy getting thier hands dirty and their yards beautiful.

Sleeping with Bread: Holding What Gives You Life
Published in Paperback by Paulist Press (June, 1995)
Authors: Dennis Linn, Sheila Fabricant Linn, and Matthew Linn
Average review score:

New Prayer Perspectives
My husband and I read "Sleeping with Bread" several years ago. It has totally changed our daily prayer time together. The authors have clearly explained several simple approaches which work. We use their plan daily and are really grateful for this little book. I think the plan could also work well for a small prayer group that might meet weekly, though we have not tried this ourselves.

"Now I lay me down to sleep": A fine way of closing the day!
Once again, the Linn brothers and Sheila Fabricant Linn show us the best of the Christian tradition in introducing to us the "examen" -- a prayer form that allows us to discern the manifestations of God in the course of a day. The method is simple -- the effects profound

Space Clearing: How to Purify and Create Harmony in Your Home
Published in Hardcover by McGraw-Hill/Contemporary Books (September, 1900)
Author: Denise Linn
Average review score:

Perfect book for the layperson
I've read Denise Linn's book Sacred Space and loved it. "Space Clearing" focuses on the specific rituals of cleansing your home of negative energies (bad vibes). I agree completely with the previous reviewer. This book is especially good for the layperson who simply wants to change the atmosphere of their dwelling and will also be enjoyed by those experienced in this field. Ms. Linn provides us with info on all the tools necessary and also gives us alot of background info. If you're interested in this subject, please order this immediately. What I like so much about Ms. Linn's books is that she recognizes and respects the rituals of many cultures, not just one in particular. I read another book on space clearing (by a different author) and the instructions demanded that only a particular Balinese bell and tools were to be used - OR - the ritual would not work. Needless to say all the tools in question were being sold by the author and were very expensive. You don't need to spend hundreds of dollars, just follow Ms. Linn's instructions.

The next best thing to taking one of Denise's classes!
If you liked Denise's book "Sacred Space", you will love this one!Space clearing is broken down into simple steps: 1: Preparation, 2: Purification 3: Invocation, and 4: Preservation. Each step is detailed, so you know exactly what to do. The book is loaded with beautiful pictures of the different tools you can use , altars, and flower offerings, so you can get an idea of what you can do yourself. She offers advice on what tools to choose, from drums and sage to bells and flower essences.

Space clearing is becoming more popular. As Denise points out, western businesses and real estate firms are hiring professional Space Clearers because they've found it increases sales. If you've always wanted to try space clearing your own house, but weren't sure how, this book will guide you every step of the way! If you already do space clearing, you will love this beautiful book!

Authors: Willy Sutton and Ed Linn
Average review score:

Fast-paced Reading!
This book makes you feel like you are side-by-side with Willie thru the planning, bank robberies, getaways, and even prison breaks. It is written in down-to-earth language and makes you feel like Willie is your buddy, and you are sitting there listening to him tell his story. Willie makes you feel like it was okay to rob the banks, and you find yourself rooting for him. It was amazing how his mind worked, so methodically planning breaking INTO the banks, and the same mindset is what helped him break OUT of prison.

"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

Where the Money Was
Where the Money Was by Willie Suton was an excellent book. It takes you through his crimes, escapes, and prison time. I would recomend it to anyone.

Double Bind: A Mystery about Psychiatric Abuse, Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder and Otto Kernberg, with Research into the Neurophysiology and Consequences of Restraint and Seclusion.
Published in Paperback by Shame the Devil Press (19 December, 2000)
Author: Linn Cohen-Cole
Average review score:

I truly loved this book!
Double Bind is an absolutely captivating mystery with a unique plot and an imaginative, yet realistic, set of characters. At the same time, Cohen-Cole manages to tackle and bring to light a terrible, violent "professional" practice that breaks, rather than heals, psychiatric patients. By making public the practice of restraint and seclusion, through such an absorbing novel, the author has already begun the movement towards the eradication of this practice.
